Trained at Stade Rennais since 2019, Djaoui Ciss\u00e9 has reached a decisive milestone this season. In 2025-2026, he played around 22 matches in Ligue 1, including a dozen starts \u2013 significant playing time for a player of his age in a demanding championship. His profile appeals: box-to-box of 1.88 m, capable of breaking the opposing pressure, protecting the ball under pressure and throwing sharp vertical passes. Some observers evoke a flattering comparison with Javier Pastore \u2013 same technical elegance, same intelligence in reading the game. If Bayer Leverkusen was the first to draw \u2013 with an official offer of around 20 million euros, according to several media \u2013 it is the entry of Arsenal into the file which reshuffles the cards. Its profile combining recovery, clean recovery and protection of space corresponds precisely to the criteria sought in the Premier League.
