The program will be dense for Arsenal and OL Lyonnes when they return from the break. The two opponents in the Champions League will play on the same days in the league.

On both sides, the posters for the Champions League semi-final will be preceded by championship days. After the break, Arsenal and OL Lyonnes will have a busy schedule in the middle of their clash (April 26 and May 2). But no advantage to one side or the other, their matches are scheduled for the same day.

The English will come out of the international break with a trip to Aston Villa (9th in Women’s Super League). The London club specified that this meeting, initially scheduled for April 26, would be brought forward to Wednesday April 22 at 7 p.m. in the event of qualification for the last four of the European Cup, which is indeed the case.

Then will come the semi-final first leg on April 26, before the reception of Leicester (12th and last in WSL) on Wednesday April 29 at 8 p.m. in the championship. Then will follow the return to Décines on May 2*. Arsenal were certainly knocked out of the FA Cup by Brighton (0-2) on April 5, which removes a deadline, but the sequence around OL Lyonnes still remains dense.

On the Lyon side, the next official duel listed is the reception of Dijon (5th in the Premier League) on Wednesday April 22 at 6:45 p.m. in the Premier League. He would also have liked to take advantage of a rescheduling to April 21 for this confrontation. After the first round in England, we will have to go to Nantes (4th in D1) on April 29 at 7 p.m.

If the two teams will continue at a sustained pace (4 posters in 11 days), the schedule appears slightly less favorable for the Rhodaniennes on paper. An element that could weigh on the management of efforts during this crucial period. Nevertheless, we can think that Jonathan Giráldez will rotate its squad widely during oppositions in the championship, which have no stake for OL Lyonnes.
