On Friday, the men entered the final stage of the 2025/26 Biathlon World Cup in Oslo. In the sprint (10 km), Eric Perrot, who had to finish in the Top 14 to win the big crystal globe, succeeded.
The best is Perrot
After a 5/5 on the prone shot, the yellow bib missed his last ball on the standing shot (9/10), and maintained the suspense. He finished behind the Norwegian Sturla Laegreid, who thus won the small sprint globe, but his 3rd place was enough to validate his title of world champion for the season (and the small individual globe). At just 24 years old, he became the 5th Frenchman in history to lift the big globe. The day after Lou Jeanmonnot’s victory in the big globe, the French signed a historic season.
