With an assist from Jeremy Doku, Manchester City won on Burnley’s pitch and took back the lead of the Premier League from Arsenal, with five games still to play.

If we played the semi-finals of the Cup in France, Italy and Germany, these were two matches from the 34th day of the Premier League which took place this Wednesday evening in England.

Among them, a duel between a promoted side, Burnley, and a title candidate, Manchester City. Winners of Arsenal during the weekend, the Skyblues turned the tide in the title race, but must now confirm and not let any more slip away a single point.

And at Turf Moor, Pep Guardiola’s men provided the minimum service, which remains sufficient to pocket the three points. Manchester City won 0-1, thanks to a goal from their inevitable Erling Haaland.

A 35th goal in all competitions for the Norwegian giant this season, on an assist from Jeremy Doku, who launched Haaland in the depth who only had to beat Martin Dúbravka in the 5th minute of play.

A victory which allows Manchester City to regain the lead of the Premier League, tied on points with Arsenal, with the same goal difference (+37), but with more goals scored (66 against 63 for the Gunners). The Skyblues therefore take the lead for three goals, with five games still to play.
