OL Lyonnes is scuttled. This Sunday, April 26, the leader of the Arkema Premier League was traveling to London to challenge Arsenal in the semi-final first leg of the Women’s Champions League. A year after having already crossed swords with the English at the same stage of the competition (2-1; 1-4), the Fenottes seemed to take things in hand at the Emirates Stadium. After a ball recovered high by a teammate, the German Jule Brand interfered in the opposing defense before finishing strongly in the net (17th, 0-1).
