Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and also PSG are all competing to try and sign Aston Villa striker Morgan Rogers. The latter, however, extended his contract last year.
Morgan Rogers under contract until 2031
Morgan Rogers is the new Premier League attraction in the next summer transfer window. In England, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all initiated steps for a possible transfer of the England international. In Europe, PSG is also one of the Aston Villa striker’s courtiers. The latter is linked with the Villans until June 2031 after signing a new contract in the summer of 2025. It will therefore not be easy to dislodge him from the Midlands, recalls Sky Sports.
A transfer valued at at least 100 million euros
Aston Villa remain in a strong position, however, as the 23-year-old has five years remaining on his contract, meaning he will be one of the most expensive players of the summer. And as the Villans are in a good position to qualify for the next Champions League, Morgan Rogers could choose to continue his career at Villa Park. Since the start of last season, the English striker has scored 24 goals and provided 23 assists in all competitions, and he has been increasingly followed by major European clubs during this period, particularly last summer. His transfer could, if it happens, exceed 100 million euros while its value is estimated by the specialist site, Transfermarkt at 80 million euros.
