Junior Kroupi scored, against Arsenal, this Saturday April 11, 2026, the tenth goal of his career in the Premier League, for his first season in the most famous championship in the world.
Placed in the right place at the right time, the former Lorient player only had to adjust his right foot, in a half-volley, after a cross from former Rennais Adrien Truffert, blocked by Arsenal’s French defender William Saliba, in the area, to open the scoring after a quarter of an hour of play (0-1, 17th), at the Emirates Stadium.

But it takes talent to place yourself. And Junior Kroupi has plenty to spare. The 19-year-old Frenchman, who arrived this summer at Bournemouth from Lorient, where he was born and trained, reached the symbolic bar of ten goals, dear to all attackers, thus confirming his status as the club’s top scorer this season, ahead of the Brazilian Evanilson (6 goals).
According to Canal +, he also became the first player under the age of 20 to score at least ten goals in his first season in England since Robbie Keane, in 1999-2000.
