The Blaugrana could do something crazy this summer with the arrival of an executive from the Squadra Azzurra.
FC Barcelona is activating its defensive avenues in preparation for the summer transfer window and has set its sights on Riccardo Calafiori. The Arsenal defender is considered a priority target to strengthen the Catalan rearguard. Versatile, left-footed and capable of playing both in the center and on the left side, the Italian international perfectly matches the profile sought by the Blaugrana leaders.
Faced with the difficulties encountered on other files, in particular that leading to Alessandro Bastoni (Inter Milan), Barça decided to reposition itself quickly. However, the file promises to be at least as complex: Arsenal does not wish to part with Calafiori, under contract until 2029 and estimated at around 50 million euros. Despite a lackluster season, the 23-year-old remains an important element of the London squad. The Catalan club will therefore have to be convincing if it wants to hope to complete an operation which already promises to be delicate. To be continued…
