Following the qualifications of Paris Saint-Germain and Atlético de Madrid, Arsenal and Bayern Munich completed the Champions League semi-final table.
PSG easy, Atlético in pain
The Parisians won by the same score in the first leg as in the return, in the Anfield den, thanks to a double from Dembélé (2-0). At the same time, Atlético lost to Barça (1-2) but qualified after the suspense.
Bayern and Arsenal finished the job
On Wednesday, the Bavarians won 4-3 (6-4, aggregate score) in a completely crazy match against Real Madrid. They will meet the Parisians in the semi-finals for an early final.
In the other quarter-final, Arsenal was not reassured after conceding a draw against Sporting (0-0). The Gunners’ victory in the first leg in Portugal (0-1) gives them qualification.
