According to initial reports, Arsenal’s home kit for the 2026-2027 season will feature a modern take on the classic design. Retro fans and collectors will be delighted by the away jersey, directly inspired by the iconic adidas “squashed banana” from the 90s.
It would be inspired by the famous JVC “bruised banana” jersey from adidas from the early 90s, however with an inversion of the colors: navy blue background and bright yellow and red details.
To reinforce this retro aesthetic, the return of adidas’ Trefoil logo is also being considered, while the club’s simplified crest, a cannon, could be retained instead of the full crest.
The release is scheduled for July or early August 2026, right after the World Cup. Price-wise, count around £105 to £120 for the authentic version and £80 to £85 for the adult replica.
