PSG: the strong decision of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, courted by Arsenal

Recruited in January 2025 by Paris Saint-Germain for an amount estimated at 70 million euros from SSC Napoli, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia quickly justified the investment made by Parisian management. If he is sometimes less sharp in Ligue 1 this season, the Georgian international remains a centerpiece of the project led by Luis Enrique, in particular thanks to his impact in major events, in particular in the Champions League. Considered one of the best wingers of his generation, he logically arouses the interest of several European big names.

A major turning point in the Kvaratskhelia case

According to information revealed by The Independent a few days ago, Arsenal is seriously studying the possibility of recruiting Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, despite a high transfer cost and the financial constraints linked to the Squad Cost Ratio. In search of major reinforcement for his offensive sector, Mikel Arteta would particularly appreciate the profile of the Georgian, capable of bringing creativity, percussion and raising the overall level of the Gunners.

However, according to the latest information from the Daily Mail, this track could quickly come up against the player’s wishes. Despite the growing interest from the London club, the 25-year-old winger would have no intention of leaving Paris Saint-Germain during the next summer transfer window and would not plan to move anywhere other than the Parc des Princes. Under contract until 2029, he is also considered almost untransferable by Parisian management.

Senny Mayulu also in Arsenal’s sights

At the same time, aware of the complexity of this issue, Arsenal would explore other avenues to strengthen its attack, including that leading to Anthony Gordon. Furthermore, the Daily Mail also indicates that the London club is closely monitoring the situation of another Paris Saint-Germain player: Senny Mayulu. The 19-year-old midfielder, under contract until June 2027, is currently in discussions with his managers with a view to an extension.

Should Khvicha Kvaratskhelia stay at PSG next season?
