New phenomenon of Cameroonian football, Christian Kofane caught the eye of the Gunners.
Arsenal are closely following Christian Kofane, a young 19-year-old striker who distinguished himself in the Champions League with Bayer Leverkusen. As Florian Plettenberg reports, the Cameroonian’s performances quickly attracted the attention of several European leaders, confirming his status as a great offensive hope. Among the interested clubs, we also find Real Madrid, which is keeping a close eye on its development.
Currently under contract with Bayer until 2029, Kofane will not be easy to dislodge. The German club would demand between 60 and 70 million euros to consider a transfer this summer. A significant sum, which however did not dampen the English suitors, ready to take a position on this issue. It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will take action or whether the battle will intensify in the coming months to secure one of the most promising talents of the moment.
