Martin Ødegaard signs major new contract and it's not with Arsenal
An equipment manufacturer transfer for Martin Ødegaard.

This is less of a revelation than a confirmation, because he had already been wearing crampons from the brand with the three stripes for a few weeks. This Wednesday, the first day of April, Arsenal FC captain Martin Ødegaard formalizes his transfer to the Adidas brand as ambassador of the Predator range.

The Norwegian, future opponent of the French team at the World Cup this summer, is leaving Nike, the equipment manufacturer with whom he had been playing until then, after several weeks of warning signals: seen training with the Predator 26 in January 2026, he no longer received new versions from Nike in the weeks preceding the announcement.

Adidas designed a bespoke version of the Predator 26 for him. This modification combines the laceless aesthetic with the adjustability of traditional lacing, an approach similar to that taken by the Three Stripes brand for the shoes of Real Madrid’s Brazilian striker Rodrygo and his custom F50.
