Atlético Madrid is preparing for its summer transfer window and is primarily targeting offensive reinforcement on the wings. With this in mind, the Madrid club checked the name of Gabriel Martinelli (24 years old). The profile of the Brazilian international, capable of providing speed, percussion and defensive volume, perfectly matches Diego Simeone’s requirements.

Author of a solid season with Arsenal (11 goals and 5 assists TCC), Martinelli logically arouses envy. But the file promises to be complex for the Colchoneros. Under contract until 2027, the winger remains an important element of the London project, and Arsenal do not seem willing to part with him easily. Its price – estimated at around 45 million euros – could also constitute a barrier, in a market where profiles of this caliber are particularly sought after.
For the moment, it is still only an observation phase, but the interest is very real. Atlético sees Martinelli as an ideal reinforcement to boost its attacking sector, even if a transfer will largely depend on the position of the Gunners and the opportunities that present themselves during the summer.
