When asked who was currently ahead in the race to secure the services of Europe’s most sought-after young striker, Depolo pointed to north London. “I think it’s too early to say, but given that the player speaks Spanish, as does Mikel Arteta, and that William Saliba is from Cameroon, I would say that Arsenal are in pole position,” Depolo concluded.
