Pau Cubarsi has admirers in Europe. In England, two big teams want to recruit the Spanish international.
With Fermin Lopez and Marc Casado, Pau Cubarsi is part of the latest wave of gems coming out of La Masia. At only 19 years old, the crack has become the benchmark of the defense and one of the leaders of the FC Barcelona team.
Logically, Barça sealed the crack a little over a year ago. But that hardly discourages two big names determined to make room in their teams for the Catalan jewel.
According to information from Transferfeed, Pau Cubarsi is on Arsenal and Chelsea radars. The Gunners want to form an iron duo with Curbasi and Piero Hincapié.
As for the Blues, it is a question of finding a central defender who will stabilize a defense which has conceded 35 goals in 30 matches in the league. This season, Pau Cubarsi has played 34 matches (1 goal) in all competitions.
An unconditional Barça fan, I began my career as a journalist in 2015. I covered the 2017 CAN in Gabon and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, among others. As a football match commentator, I recently took a liking to the EuroLeague Basketball, where my favorite player is Facundo Campazzo.
