In the 69th minute, a Citizens supporter carried out a humorous action to tease Arsenal, just before the meeting between the two teams the next day.
After the 3-0, this Sky Blues fan held up a bottle adorned with the Gunners logo and pretended to drink with assumed mischief.
Some saw it as a good-natured provocation aimed at the Gunners, expected at the Etihad Stadium next Sunday for the 33rd day.
Arsenal currently occupies first place in the standings with 70 points, six points ahead of the Citizens, who however have one game in hand against Crystal Palace.
