For those who don’t follow American football, the name Puka Nacua probably means nothing to you. But the Los Angeles Rams receiver had already made headlines in early December 2025 when, in a YouTube video, he made a gesture used as an anti-Semitic stereotype to portray Jews as greedy.
A few days later, the Utah native apologized, explaining that he was unaware that this gesture had anti-Semitic connotations. According to TMZ, Nakua is once again the target of an investigation for having, this time, made anti-Semitic remarks at the end of December, by pronouncing “F*** the Jews”. “The first act in an escalation of rude, vulgar, threatening, violent and harassing behavior,” explains a young woman.
The latter, who filed a complaint, also accuses the player of having bitten him twice. Nacua’s attorney, Levi McCathern, says the whole affair is nothing more than an extortion attempt. If he admits that there was indeed a bite, it would have taken place in a festive end-of-year celebration setting. But the council completely refutes the anti-Semitic comments, according to TMZ. A hearing is scheduled for April 14.
