While Senegal organized a press conference in Paris on Thursday to explain the aftermath of the giant imbroglio around the final of the African Cup of Nations, won by the Lions of Teranga but ultimately canceled by the CAF appeal jury, Morocco was quick to react. Our file on the CAN

As a reminder, after having placed the trophy under guard in a secure military base, the Senegalese Football Federation appealed CAF’s decision on Wednesday before the Court of Arbitration for Sport. It remains to be seen whether Morocco’s threats will make the Senegalese flinch and push them to keep the trophy in the locker room on Saturday, near Saint-Denis.
