Highly courted by Arsenal, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is not the only PSG player the Gunners dream of.
PSG will have several hot issues to manage to strengthen or secure its workforce this summer. While the capital club wishes to extend one of its young talents, interest from Premier League clubs like Arsenal continues to grow, particularly for Ibrahim Mbaye. At the same time, another track involving Khvicha Kvaratskhelia fuels discussions around the future of the Parisian attack.
Ibrahim Mbaye extended again to counter Arsenal?
Aged only 18, Ibrahim Mbaye has established himself as one of PSG’s most promising young talents. Trained at the club, he already holds records for precociousness and made an impression from his professional debut.
According to SportsBoom, Arsenal are closely following the young Senegalese winger and have included his name on their list of prospects for the next summer transfer window. Faced with this interest, PSG would be ready to offer a contract extension to Mbaye to secure his future in Paris, while integrating advantageous clauses, in particular a resale clause requested by the player. As a reminder, Mbaye had already extended until 2028 last December.
For the Ile-de-France club, extending Mbaye is a way of protecting a promising asset while preventing him from leaving for a lesser sum to the Premier League, where British clubs are increasingly active in young French talents.
Arsenal and Kvaratskhelia, a more uncertain path
Besides Mbaye, the Arsenal Gunners are also interested in another PSG player, the Georgian Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Several media report that the London club is exploring an offensive to attract the playmaker, renowned for his creativity and his ability to energize the attack.
However, this avenue appears more complicated to materialize: some sources affirm that PSG is not expecting an official offer for Kvaratskhelia this summer, which could cool Arsenal’s enthusiasm. The player feels good in Paris and might want to continue the adventure under the colors of PSG, despite English interest.
A strategic transfer window for PSG
This transfer window therefore promises to be strategic for PSG. On the one hand, the club wants to retain its young players like Mbaye, by securing them in the long term and avoiding premature departures to the Premier League. On the other hand, he must manage the ambitions and rumors around executives like Kvaratskhelia, who could attract big offers if the sporting or financial project evolves.
With a 2025-2026 season which is still far from over and a stated desire to remain competitive at the highest level, PSG intends to make this transfer window a key moment to build a squad that is both talented and sustainable.

While the Gunners have scouted the 18-year-old multiple times, PSG plans to reject all offers and secure the player with a new long-term contract.
