The 23-year-old playmaker is cut from the same wood as Spanish national team legends such as Cazorla, Cesc Fàbregas, Xavi and Andrés Iniesta. Pedri already has a European champion medal, won in 2024, and hopes to win a world title this summer at the 2026 World Cup.
Asked why he admires the Tenerife native, Cazorla told Sport : “At his age, he is already one of the best in the world. He’s a special kind of player that we all enjoy every time he plays. I think Barcelona really miss Pedri when he’s not here.
