The Top 14 is on break this weekend and it makes way for the Champions Cup. The most prestigious of the European Rugby Cups offers us 8 matches during the round of 16. Four French clubs are still in the running, namely Castres, Toulon, Toulouse and Bordeaux-Bègles.
Three Franco-English shocks
The CO will open the ball on Friday evening with a trip across the Channel, to England, on the pitch in Northampton. Toulon and Toulouse will respectively face the South African Stormers and the English Bristol on Saturday afternoon. Finally, on Sunday, UBB, defending champion, will face Leicester on their home pitch. If it wins, it will be opposed to… Stade Toulousain, for a revenge of last year. The Tigers, currently 3rd in the Premiership (after 10 days), remain on four consecutive victories in the league, including the latest against Gloucester (36 to 17).
