This is the end of the first act. This Wednesday, the last two quarter-final first legs of the Champions League delivered their verdict. After Bayern Munich’s domination at the Bernabeu against Real Madrid (1-2) and Arsenal’s narrow victory at Sporting on Tuesday (0-1), it was Paris Saint-Germain and Atlético de Madrid who respectively brought down Liverpool (2-0) and FC Barcelona (0-2).
As in the round of 16 last season, the Parisians faced the Reds at the Parc des Princes. If the content had the air of 2024-2025, the result this time turned in favor of Luis Enrique’s men before the complicated trip to Anfield next Tuesday.
