On Saturday, during the last stage of Itzulia 2026 between Antzuola and Bergara, Paul Seixas (Decathlon CMA CGM) had to maintain his lead of 2’30” in the general classification to win the edition. The cycling prodigy achieved this in difficult conditions, in the rain of the Basque Country.
Andrew August (Ineos Grenadiers) raises his arms on this last stage of 135 kilometers and almost 3000 m of elevation gain, with six climbs. With the rain, the traps were necessarily more numerous but the Lyonnais knew how to avoid them throughout the day.
