After two weeks of Champions Cup, the Top 14 resumes its rights this weekend, with several posters on the program for the 21st day.
The race to the final stages
Stade Toulousain (71 points), which is in the lead, will travel to the lawn of its neighbor, Castres, with the ambition of returning to victory, one week after its elimination from the Investec Champions Cup by Union Bordeaux-Bègles. UBB, 4th with 59 units, will take to the pitch at Stade Rochelais (45 points) in a match which could prove decisive in the race for the final stages. Pau, 2nd with 59 points, will go to Bayonne, 10th with 45 points, to try to take the runner-up place alone.
5th, Montpellier receives the USAP for a remake of the European Challenge where the Héraultais largely won (53-13). In the first leg on neutral ground, in Béziers, they also won (0-28). The Catalans are condemned to finish 13th and are already preparing their accession barrage against a Pro D2.
With 7 small points, Montauban hosts Toulon, 11th but still in contention in the Champions Cup after its exploit in the quarter-final in Glasgow. Note that only 15 points separate Pau, 2nd, from Lyon, 12th.
A derby to finish
At the Stade Paris La Défense Arena, Racing 92 will host Stade Français. The Racing men must win to get closer to qualifying for the final phase. They are 7th with 50 points, two points less than Clermont, 6th.
