The ranking after the 4th stage

Thursday, the queen stage of the Tour of the Alps 2026 between Arco and Trento (167.8 km) turned to the advantage of the German Lennart Jasch. In the Italian mountains, the Tudor team rider pulled off a nice solo feat. At the end of a stage with demanding terrain, with changes of pace and an open finish, he beat the Italians Matteo Sobrero (Lidl-Trek) and Federico Iacomoni (Team UKYO).

Lennart Jasch succeeds

On the slopes of Brusago, less than 50km from the finish, the German Jasch managed to break Quinn and take off 24 kilometers from the line. With 50 seconds ahead of the peloton, he was never caught. Giulio Pellizzari and Aleksandr Vlasov tried to accelerate and cleared the peloton. In this game, Matteo Sobrero (Lidl-trek) and Federico Iacomoni (Team UKYO) counterattacked and both left.

It was too late to hope to catch up with the 25-year-old rider, who has only been cycling competitively for two years after a career in speed skating. Lennard Jasch finally won brilliantly ahead of Matteo Sobrero and Federico Iacomini.
