The day after Jorge Martin (Aprilia)’s victory in the sprint, Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia) set the record straight. Even though he hit Pedro Acosta (KTM) on the first lap, after a better start from the Spaniard, the Italian quickly took the lead of the race and never let go. He also broke the historic record for laps led (104) and won his 5th consecutive Grand Prix. Only Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez have achieved this in the modern era.
He is ahead of Jorge Martin (Aprilia) and Pedro Acosta (KTM). In the general classification, Marc Bezzecchi is 4 points ahead of his teammate Jorge Martin in the lead. Pedro Acosta, at 21 points, completes the podium.
On the French side, Johann Zarco fell in the 3rd round (Honda LCR) and Fabio Quartaro finished 17th (Yamaha).
