Former Juventus and Arsenal goalkeeper Alexander Manninger dies at 48

This is a new drama, reminiscent of the tragic disappearance of Diogo Jota and his brother, André, last summer. Former goalkeeper for the Austrian team, Alexander Manninger died this Thursday, April 16, at the age of 48, on the roads of Nußdorf am Haunsberg, in Austria.

The Austrian ended his career more than 10 years ago, after stints at Arsenal, Juventus and Liverpool. The goalkeeper had also ended his career with a final contract in England, without playing a match with the Reds.
