The 27th day of Ligue 1 confirmed the domination of Paris Saint-Germain and its runner-up, RC Lens, both winners. The reigning French champions won largely in Nice (0-4) while Lens outclassed Angers the day before (4-1). Paris still has 1 point more and one match less than the Sang et Or. The Lensois now have 10 points more than OM, 3rd.
The Olympics disappoint, Lille benefits
Behind the first two in the ranking, the Olympics lost, against Monaco for Lyon, and against Lille for Marseille, by the same score (1-2). LOSC therefore took the opportunity to return to Les Gones, and two points behind the Phocéens. The Monegasques are only one step behind Lyon and Lille now.
Nantes believed in it, Auxerre is breathing
While they were leading the score, Vahid Halilodzic’s players lost against Strasbourg (1-2). They see Metz come back from two and only three points separate the two teams. The Messins obtained a good draw in Rennes (0-0). Paris FC beats Le Havre and moves away from the red zone, now 9 points in the rearview mirror. On the other hand, the HAC is only 5 points behind Auxerre, winner of Brest (3-0).
